Fish are cold-blooded vertebrates, whose body movements and balance mainly using fins, breathing through gills, living in an aquatic environment. Most vertebrates the world fish covering 48.1%, mammals (10.8%), reptiles (14.4%), amphibians (6.0%), birds (20.7%). One of consumed North Sulawesi is scad mackerel locally called malalugis. This research focused on meristic morphometric characteristics blue scad. The samples were caught Makalehi waters then landed Manado Bay. Meristic observations (related to number) included number spines soft dorsal fin, pectoral pelvic anal fin (anal), caudal fin. There 9 first (D1), 2 30-37 rays second (D2), 3 24-31 (A), 1,327 linea lateralis (LL). cover total length, standard fork head tail stem eye width, length (anal). ranged from 180 mm 303 with a mean 223 deviation 25 mm.Keywords: lateralis, waters.AbstrakIkan merupakan hewan vertebrata berdarah dingin, yang pergerakan dan keseimbangan tubuhnya terutama menggunakan sirip umumnya bernapas dengan insang serta hidup dalam lingkungan air. Spesies terbanyak di dunia adalah ikan persentase 48,1 persen dari keseluruhan ada, pada mamalia memiliki presentase 10,8 persen, reptile 14,4 amfibi hanya 6,0 spesies burung 20,7 persen.
